About
Maxine is a Mayfair based arts dealer and adviser specialising in the sale of decorative arts from the 18th-20th centuries. The granddaughter of a Mancunian silver and jewellery dealer, as a young girl she was mesmerised when her grandfather unwrapped his latest treasure. Her stylish grandmother created an Art Deco interior for her home with lighting and objets d’art of the period which fired Maxine’s passion for art and antiques.

She combines extensive art historical knowledge with a highly developed aesthetic appreciation. Her mission is to source, curate and offer objects, lighting and furniture where form and function collide so that everyday objects become a work of art. In her quest for the quirky and distinctive she has taken to heart Jean Willy Mestac’s adage: “Tell me what you collect and I will tell you who you are”.
